Coming from never trying to do a burnout before, is it really not obvious that your tires aren't spinning? I just don't get it.

Unless you know the smell of a clutch, maybe not.

The smell must horrible. Those bystanders probably had throw their clothes away.

Haha...well that I do know the smell of. But fair enough. Like I said, I've never attempted one so I don't know

Should be really obvious for the following reasons:

1) The car moves A LITTLE bit during a burnout. Side-to-side or forward. You can feel something

2) When doing a burnout, the speedometer will fly up (like when losing traction on snow/ice). If you're burning the clutch, it says "0".

Those should be good enough indicators.

How did it then have enough grab left in it to move the car afterwards? Unfreaking real.. Figured once you abused it that bad to the point of fire it would be worthless but looked like it was still hooking up as he pulled away. Wth.

Kinda what I was thinking. But if you're doing donuts and attempting burnouts in the middle of the street, hypothetically you may not think of these things, but d'oh either way

Very obvious. The car lurches fairly violently, and you hear tires spinning as well as the motor. It looks like he just rolled to a stop, revved, and eased off the clutch... not how you do a burnout. It is very, very easy to do in the wet, though there won't be as much smoke.

Haha another thing I assumed would happen. But after seeing enough of these video's I questioned if maybe I was just assuming that you would know haha. My two favorites in no particular order
